Duval County Clerk Of Court is an elected official and appointed by the governor of Florida. Duval County is a county located at northeast corner of Florida State USA. It was named after William pope Duval, the governor of Florida Territory from 1822 to 1834 and was established in 1822. The estimated population is about 900000 as per 2008 Census.

It also serves auto registration notices, collects registration fees, maintains auto title, auto insurance regulations, handles traffic tickets and collects ticket fees. The clerk office handles dissolution, legal separations, adoptions, and proceedings to terminate parental rights. The clerk office issues marriage license when the couple applies together with valid Ids and fulfilling other marriage rules and regulations of the county. The license is valid in Florida Sate only.
